Turtle Beach Brand Revamp: A New Era of Gaming Gear

JULY 11, 2025

Turtle Beach, long known for its industry-leading gaming headsets, is ushering in a bold new chapter, one that expands its reach, modernizes its offerings, and redefines its brand identity. The company’s recent moves signal not just a product refresh, but a complete evolution of how it positions itself in the ever-growing world of gaming peripherals.

Strategic Acquisitions and Integration

In 2024, Turtle Beach made headlines with its acquisition of PDP (Performance Designed Products), the popular controller and accessories maker, along with its high-performance esports brand, Victrix. This strategic move allowed Turtle Beach to expand beyond audio into competitive-grade gaming controllers and accessories.

Now in 2025, we’re seeing the results of this merger: PDP and Victrix products are being absorbed into the Turtle Beach brand. The once-separate Victrix line is being phased out, and its award-winning designs are being re-released with improvements under the Turtle Beach name.

Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded: A Flagship Reimagined

One of the most talked-about examples of this transformation is the Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded. This next-gen version of the acclaimed modular controller features Hall effect thumbsticks and triggers—offering enhanced durability and ultra-responsive performance.

It also boasts an ergonomically upgraded fight pad module, making it a top pick for competitive players, especially in the fighting game community. With pre-orders open ahead of its September 2025 release, the Reloaded edition is positioned as a flagship product in Turtle Beach’s revamped controller lineup.

  • Had it for five weeks now. Bought this to play fighting games, but now I use it for every game. Awesome controller. Feels durable and the buttons, triggers, and sticks all feel good. Love the extra accessories like the fps stick, button module and dpad faces. I also love that they have the option to buy the button modules to replace in the future if needed. Software is not exactly perfect but it is almost there, would be nice to see a battery percentage indicator at least.

Broadening the Product Ecosystem in StreamCast Asia

Turtle Beach’s brand refresh isn’t limited to one product. Amongst the unveiling of new headsets and controllers across multiple platforms, including:

  • Stealth Pivot and Afterglow Wave controllers for PC & Xbox
  • Stealth 500 and Stealth 600 | Gen 3 headsets for PC & Xbox Series X|S & Xbox One

This expanded range shows a clear intent: Turtle Beach wants to be a one-stop brand for gamers—whether they're on console, PC, or handheld platforms.

Racing Into the Future

The company is also entering the racing simulation space with its new VelocityOne series.

Slated for release in September 2025, the lineup includes:

  • VelocityOne Race KD3 direct-drive racing wheel and pedals
  • VelocityOne Racer wireless racing wheel

These additions round out Turtle Beach’s ecosystem, appealing to sim racers with pro-grade equipment.

What This Means for the Brand

This strategic revamp signals Turtle Beach’s evolution into a full-spectrum gaming brand. No longer just a headset maker, Turtle Beach is now positioning itself alongside the likes of Razer, SteelSeries, and Logitech G—offering everything from pro-level controllers to racing wheels.

By absorbing PDP and Victrix, launching refreshed products, and targeting new segments, Turtle Beach is clearly gearing up for a future where versatility, innovation, and performance are the name of the game.

In short: this isn't just a brand refresh. It's a brand reload.
